AMTZ has prioritized key areas for this year’s meet, focusing on E-Waste management, new material development, Industry 4.0, and automation. One of the major highlights of the event was the inauguration of AMTZ’s state-of-the-art E-Waste Management Centre, a pioneering facility in the region. Designed to handle the safe disposal and recycling of biomedical devices and electronics, the center aims to address the growing concern of electronic waste in an environmentally sustainable manner.

In an impressive feat, the E-Waste Management Centre was built in just 234 days. Inaugurated by Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, the center will serve as a regional hub for e-waste processing, focusing on the recovery of precious and rare earth materials while minimizing the environmental impact.

Additionally, the event saw the launch of the official logo for the S&T clusters and the unveiling of a dedicated webpage for the upcoming international science and technology clusters conference, scheduled for December 4-5, 2025.

The 3rd All S&T Clusters Meet at AMTZ highlights India’s growing position in the global STI ecosystem, emphasizing cross-regional collaboration, technological progress, and sustainable solutions for economic growth.
