Builders upbeat as Visakhapatnam gears up for CREDAI expo
With the announcement of the 11th CREDAI Property Expo, scheduled from December 19 to 21, 2025, at Gadiraju Palace and Convention Centre, confidence among builders has grown. The event, promoted as the largest property exhibition in Andhra Pradesh, is expected to give a boost to the sector.
CREDAI Visakhapatnam Chapter Chairman V. Dharmender said the expo will feature over 70 stalls, showcasing a wide range of participants including real estate developers, banks, financial institutions, building material suppliers, layout developers, and interior designers.
The expo comes at a time when Visakhapatnam’s property market is showing clear signs of revival. Following a period of slow activity, sentiment has strengthened with big-ticket investments flowing into the city. Mr. Dharmender highlighted projects such as the Google Data Centre and new technology and industrial hubs, noting that they are creating employment, drawing skilled manpower and bolstering investor confidence. “These developments are driving urban growth and making Visakhapatnam a strong destination for real estate activity,” he said.
He stressed the role of the expo in facilitating engagement between buyers and industry stakeholders. “This platform allows citizens to explore options, compare offerings, interact with builders and make informed decisions about their dream home,” he added.
Visitors expressed similar views. Saranya Kumar, an SEO specialist, said such exhibitions help families track market trends and review multiple property options in a single venue. Varun Tej, a BPO employee, remarked that the presence of reputed developers at the event offers buyers greater clarity and assurance before making investment choices.
According to Mr. Dharmender, the sector is already witnessing steady inquiries, lead generation and conversions, with several companies announcing new ventures in the city. He said the expo arrives at the right time for buyers, investors and developers looking to capitalise on Visakhapatnam’s expanding opportunities and growing reputation as a property hub.
