APEPDCL to launch ‘Dial Your CMD’ for consumer grievances
In an effort to ensure quicker redressal of power-related grievances, the Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution Company Limited (APEPDCL) has decided to introduce the “Dial Your APEPDCL CMD” programme.
According to a press release, APEPDCL Chairman and Managing Director Prithvitej Immadi said the initiative would be conducted every Monday, starting February 9. Electricity consumers can directly register their complaints by calling 8688400499.
The facility will be available to consumers in Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Parvathipuram Manyam, Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli, ASR Paderu, Rajamahendravaram, Kakinada, Dr B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema, Eluru, and West Godavari districts.
The CMD will interact with consumers from the APEPDCL corporate office in Visakhapatnam between 10.30 a.m. and 11.30 a.m. Issues such as frequent power interruptions, voltage fluctuations, delays in the release of new services, restoration of supply, and replacement of transformers can be brought directly to his notice.
Mr. Immadi appealed to consumers across the 11 districts under APEPDCL to make use of the initiative for the speedy resolution of grievances.
