NTPC Simhadri Initiates Rs 50 Lakh Dormitory Project at BC Welfare Hostel

Under its CSR initiative, NTPC Simhadri laid the foundation stone for the construction of a Dormitory Hall facility at the BC Welfare Hostel, Odacheepurupalli, Naidupalem GP, Parawada Mandal on 20th August. The project, with a total outlay of Rs 50 lakh, aims to provide better infrastructure and inclusive educational support to students from the marginalised communities.

The ceremony was graced by Hon’ble MLA of Pendurthi Constituency, Shri Panchakarla Ramesh Babu, who laid the foundation stone. He appreciated the continuous efforts of NTPC Simhadri in uplifting local communities and making education more inclusive.

The event was attended by NTPC officials along with local GP Sarpanches and BC Welfare school officials.
