Member of Parliament M. Sribharat interacted with students of Chaitanya Engineering College, Kommadi, highlighting the role of technological self-reliance and energy security in shaping India’s future.

The MP noted that a significant portion of India’s sensitive data currently resides with foreign companies, posing strategic challenges. He added that developing indigenous AI models using domestic data would give India a competitive advantage globally.
Sribharat also emphasised the importance of knowledge in the modern era, noting that information now influences health, lifestyles, and consumer behaviour. He urged students to focus on innovation, research, and data security to prepare for emerging technological challenges.
Earlier in the day, Sribharat, along with Visakhapatnam West MLA P.G.V.R. Naidu, inaugurated development projects worth ₹2.39 crore across Wards 52, 89, and 90 under the GVMC. The projects include six community halls, modernised playgrounds equipped with gym facilities, construction of compound walls, and the establishment of a new ward secretariat aimed at improving civic amenities.
