104th MES Day celebrated at Naval Base
The 104th Military Engineer Services (MES) Day was celebrated at the Naval Base on September 28 and 29 with a series of programmes highlighting the role of the engineering organisation in strengthening defence infrastructure and supporting the operational preparedness of the Armed Forces.
The two-day celebrations included User and Technical Awareness Seminars and a Product Exhibition. The programmes provided a platform for technical interaction and knowledge sharing, and showcased contemporary engineering solutions and practices relevant to defence infrastructure.
Vice Admiral Susheel Menon, AVSM, VSM, Chief of Staff, Eastern Naval Command, interacted with MES personnel during the celebrations and appreciated their contribution to maintaining infrastructure and enhancing the operational capability of the Armed Forces.
The contributions of Pankaj Tyagi, Chief Engineer (N), Visakhapatnam, and MES personnel were also acknowledged for their work in infrastructure augmentation, the maintenance of critical assets, and the operational preparedness of the Eastern Naval Command.
The celebrations highlighted the growing importance of robust engineering support in meeting the requirements of the Armed Forces.
MES, which provides engineering support to the Armed Forces, reaffirmed its commitment to delivering reliable and responsive infrastructure services while keeping pace with emerging engineering technologies and practices.
