A feast by the sea: Vizag Food Festival 2025 brings flavors and fun to Beach Road
The city’s coastline has transformed into a food lover’s paradise as the Vizag Food Festival 2025 draws large crowds to the MGM Grounds on Beach Road. The three-day festival, which began on Friday, blends local and international cuisine, culture, and seaside experiences for visitors of all ages.
Organized with support from AP Tourism, AP Tourism Forum, Hotels and Restaurants Association, Tours and Travels Association, Visakhapatnam Hotel Merchants Association, Event Management Association, and AP Chamber of Commerce, the festival highlights Vizag’s growing reputation as a culinary and cultural hub.
The festival features 40 food stalls serving a variety of dishes. Highlights include Korean delicacies at Hot & Spicy Foods, the trending Dubai Viral Kunafa Chocolate, and aromatic Araku Finest Coffee. Traditional Andhra Pradesh flavors are also on display, with a tribal stall offering Gummedaku Pakodi and another popular stall serving Madugula Halwa, drawing steady crowds throughout the day.
Visitors are enjoying more than just food. A boat dining setup overlooking the sea has become a key attraction, while live cultural performances provide entertainment along the shoreline. Families and groups of friends are seen dining barefoot on the sand, soaking in the atmosphere.
Saketh, a final-year engineering student, said, “I came with my friends to try different food items and relax, since it’s a holiday.” Indrani, a yoga tutor visiting with her family, added, “We’re here to enjoy the food and also unwind by the beach. The atmosphere is perfect.”
The Vizag Food Festival 2025 is a celebration of flavors, tradition, and social experiences. From children tasting tribal snacks for the first time to coffee lovers enjoying fresh brews, the festival offers a memorable weekend for locals and tourists alike.
