TDP condemns Ambati Rambabu remarks against N. Chandrababu Naidu

Andhra flagship projects draw global confidence at Davos: Palla

TDP State president Palla Srinivasa Rao said Andhra Pradesh’s flagship initiatives, including the proposed Green Hydrogen Valley and Space City projects, have drawn interest from several countries, reflecting renewed global confidence in Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s governance.

In a statement, Mr. Rao said the Chief Minister, along with Minister for IT and Education N. Lokesh, held a series of high-level meetings at Davos and entered into strategic agreements to attract investments, industries, and employment opportunities to the State.

He said global analysts have identified the government’s emphasis on “policy guarantees” as a key factor boosting investor confidence, citing transparency and predictability in administration. Mr. Rao also described the Visakhapatnam–Kakinada port corridor as a key gateway for trade with Southeast Asia.

Mr. Rao termed the Chief Minister’s meeting with UAE Economy Minister Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri on the opening day of Davos as a turning point in Andhra Pradesh’s economic journey.

Highlighting Mr. Lokesh’s role, he said discussions with Spain-based EV organisations on green hydrogen and zero-emission vehicles mark an important step towards positioning Andhra Pradesh as a clean energy hub. He also noted that the foundation stone-laying ceremony for the ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel plant in Anakapalli district, scheduled in February, would be a milestone in the State’s industrial growth.
