AP Chambers to host second Business Expo in Vijayawada in December 2025
The Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation (AP Chambers) will hold the second edition of its Business Expo from December 12 to 14, 2025, at SS Convention in Vijayawada.
The decision was announced during the AP Chambers Board meeting held in the city, which saw participation from members representing various sectors across the State.
AP Chambers President Potluri Bhaskara Rao said the first edition of the Expo, organised in November 2024, drew more than 150 exhibitors and registered a footfall of over 30,000 visitors over three days. The event also hosted sector-specific seminars and networking sessions.
The upcoming edition is expected to feature around 160 exhibitors and a similar visitor turnout. “The Expo will bring together MSMEs, industrialists, entrepreneurs, innovators, and service providers. It will create space for interaction and business exploration,” Mr. Rao said.
Board members expressed concern over the high-power charges in Andhra Pradesh, stating that the increased costs were affecting industrial production. They also sought the release of the pending second instalment of industrial incentives.
Mr. Rao urged the State government to reduce power tariffs to support both small and large industries and attract more investment. He added that industries continue to face multiple compliance checks and called for simplifying procedures at the ground level.
Executive Vice-President B. Raja Sekhar, General Secretary Subbarao Ravuri, Treasurer S. Akkaiah Naidu, and other office-bearers took part in the meeting.
