APSRTC Introduces Night Rider Service to Vijayawada

The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has launched a new Night Rider (AC Seater-Cum-Sleeper) service between Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada, expanding its overnight travel options from the Visakhapatnam Depot.

The service will operate daily, departing from Visakhapatnam at 9.30 p.m. Officials said the introduction of the Night Rider is aimed at providing passengers with a more comfortable and convenient night-time journey, with both seater and sleeper facilities.

APSRTC has also revised the timings of its AC bus services from the Visakhapatnam Depot. The updated departures are scheduled at 6 a.m., 8 a.m., 11 a.m., 12.30 p.m., and 9.30 p.m., with the late-night slot allocated to the Night Rider sleeper service.

According to officials, the buses are equipped with air-conditioned coaches and are operated by experienced drivers to ensure passenger safety. Tickets can be booked online through the APSRTC portal or at the Visakhapatnam RTC Bus Station.

Meanwhile, APSRTC has arranged special bus services in connection with the International Fleet Review. These services will operate from RK Beach and the Complex to various parts of the city to facilitate passenger movement during the event.

Passengers have been encouraged to make use of the new service and the revised AC bus schedule.
