BJP President P.V.N. Madhav Talks About GST Reforms and India’s Economic Growth
BJP State President P.V.N. Madhav said the next-generation GST reforms, effective from September 22, will benefit people across all sectors. Speaking to party members, he noted that the number of GST slabs has been reduced to two. This change will simplify the tax system and bring relief to businesses and consumers alike.
Madhav shared a detailed PowerPoint presentation on the reforms and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for their leadership. “These reforms are a milestone in India’s economic growth,” he said. “While other countries face economic challenges, India is moving ahead under PM Modi’s leadership.”
He also highlighted the growth in India’s key sectors. “Our defence, railways, agriculture, industrial, and pharmaceutical sectors are growing. We are now ready to export to other countries,” he said. Mr. Madhav explained how the tax cuts would benefit various products.
Earlier, Madhav met P. Ramesh Naidu, the newly appointed Chairman of the Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple Trust Board in Srisailam. Naidu, a dedicated party worker since his ABVP days, was praised by Mr. Madhav for his loyalty. “His appointment shows that the party values dedicated workers,” he said.
As the GST reforms take effect, the BJP is determined to strengthen India’s economic position globally under PM Modi’s leadership.
