CII Summit to Highlight Andhra Pradesh’s Growth Prospects

Andhra Pradesh will host the two-day CII Partnership Summit on November 14 and 15, showcasing the State’s growing potential for industry and investment. The event will gather policymakers, business leaders, and global delegates to explore opportunities in infrastructure, technology, energy, and tourism. The TDP called the summit a major step in the State’s growth journey.

The inaugural plenary will focus on India’s trade strength, investment climate, and the role of government–industry collaboration. Country sessions with Russia, Japan, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore will aim to deepen trade and industrial ties.

The State government will also hold sector-specific sessions on its strengths in electronics manufacturing, semiconductors, coastal logistics, green hydrogen, sustainable cities, and tourism. Andhra Pradesh is also positioning itself as a new hub for space, drone, and defence industries.

Day two will spotlight technology and innovation, with sessions on AI, future jobs, blue economy financing, climate risk, global startups, agribusiness, and women-led innovation. Discussions will also feature two key State initiatives — One Family One Entrepreneur (OFOE) and the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub (RTIH) — along with plans to build India’s first indigenous quantum stack.

Neelayapalem Vijay Kumar, Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Biodiversity Board, said the summit will reinforce the State’s image as a top destination for global investors. He praised Minister for ITE&C and HRD Nara Lokesh for driving investment outreach, saying, “While Brand CBN revived investor confidence, Lokesh’s clarity and swift decisions have positioned Andhra Pradesh as a rising hub for new industries.”

The summit will close with a valedictory session attended by the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, the Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, the Chief Minister, and senior CII representatives.
