HSL Hosts Managerial Development Program for Mid-Level Executives

Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL), in partnership with the Maharashtra Institute of Technology School of Distance Education (MITSDE), held a One-Day Managerial Development Program (MDP) on August 30, 2025. The program aimed to improve the leadership and decision-making skills of mid-level executives. Twenty participants from different departments took part in the event.

Cmde Girideep Singh, Chairman & Managing Director (C&MD) of HSL, inaugurated the program. He highlighted the importance of continuous learning in today’s fast-changing business world. “In an era of rapid change and tough competition, improving managerial skills is key. This program is a great chance for our executives to improve their leadership, decision-making, and strategic thinking,” Cmde Singh said.

The program focused on leadership development, strategic thinking, and decision-making. It also aimed to improve overall managerial skills. The event encouraged participants to share ideas, discuss best practices, and learn new ways to lead and manage.
