National Tourism Mart to be held in Vizag in Feb 2026

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Tourism, Culture and Cinematography Kandula Durgesh announced that the State government, in association with the Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI), will organise a two-day National Tourism Mart 2025 in Visakhapatnam on February 13 and 14, 2026.

An MoU aimed at accelerating the growth of domestic tourism was signed in the presence of senior Tourism Department officials and ADTOI representatives.

The Minister said the mart would provide a national platform to showcase Andhra Pradesh’s coastal destinations, spiritual circuits, heritage monuments, eco and adventure tourism, as well as tourism potential in agency and tribal areas.

Leading tour operators, hotel owners, destination promoters, tourism stakeholders, and travel experts from across the country are expected to participate.

Mr. Durgesh said the event would feature B2B networking sessions, destination presentations, business meetings, panel discussions, and familiarisation tours to major tourist locations. These initiatives, he said, would help local stakeholders build direct business ties with national players.

He expressed confidence that the mart would boost tourist inflow, generate employment, strengthen long-term business relationships, and enhance the State’s visibility on the national tourism map.

ADTOI representatives said their focus was on strengthening domestic tourism, promoting lesser-known destinations in the State and ensuring sustainable tourism growth with employment opportunities for local communities.

They welcomed the partnership with the Andhra Pradesh government and said the association remained committed to working with national bodies to promote responsible and inclusive tourism development.
