Pawan Kalyan Charts Clear Course for Janasena at ‘Senatho Senani’ in Visakhapatnam

Janasena Party chief and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan energized party cadres on the first day of the ‘Senatho Senani’ program, presenting a clear roadmap for the party’s growth and governance agenda. Addressing MLAs and activists, he underlined the need for stronger accountability, grassroots engagement, and policy focus.

At the Legislative Party meeting, Pawan Kalyan announced three key resolutions. The first aims to fight online harassment, particularly content targeting women, with a proposal to raise the issue in the state assembly. The second focuses on creating jobs for youth while enhancing women’s safety measures. The third resolution emphasizes direct outreach by taking welfare and development programs to the people, strengthening Janasena’s grassroots commitment.

He also highlighted Janasena’s contribution to safeguarding the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant from privatization. He said that his intervention with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, along with the support of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, helped secure the Central government’s allocation of Rs 14,000 crore to the steel plant, a move aimed at reviving its operations.

As part of the party’s internal review process, Pawan Kalyan held one-on-one meetings with MLAs, spending a few minutes with each to assess constituency work and public feedback. The leadership is now considering a performance-based ranking system for legislators to improve accountability and efficiency.

To strengthen party structure, Pawan Kalyan directed representatives to dedicate one day a week to Janasena activities and urged leaders to stay active on social media to counter opposition propaganda. He also announced that during constituency visits he would interact directly with the public through arrangements made by local workers. Yelamanchili MLA Sundarapu Vijay Kumar later told reporters that the party remains united, dismissing speculation of alliance rifts and affirming that Janasena will retain its distinct identity while working with allies for the state’s progress.
