Sainik School Korukonda NCC Cadets Lead Patriotic ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Rally in Villages
In a spirited prelude to the nation’s 79th Independence Day celebrations, the National Cadet Corps (NCC) unit of Sainik School Korukonda organized a vibrant outreach program under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
Led by 40 enthusiastic NCC cadets, along with dedicated Army staff and Associate NCC Officers (ANOs), the initiative brought the tricolour to life across the neighbouring villages of Kumaram and Korukonda.
Marching proudly with the Indian National Flag, the cadets raised resounding patriotic slogans, inspiring residents to join the nationwide movement of hoisting the Tiranga at their homes on Independence Day.
During the rally, the cadets engaged directly with village households, explaining the deeper meaning of the national flag — saffron for courage and sacrifice, white for peace and truth, green for prosperity, and the Ashoka Chakra for righteousness, progress, and motion.
“This outreach was truly heartwarming. Witnessing the genuine connection forged between our cadets, the Tiranga, and the villagers was inspiring,” said Group Captain S.S. Shastri, Principal of Sainik School Korukonda. “The cadets effectively translated the spirit of Har Ghar Tiranga into meaningful dialogue and shared fervour.”
The campaign not only reinforced the symbolic value of the national flag but also instilled a sense of collective responsibility among the villagers to display it with respect and pride. The initiative served as a strong reminder of the unifying power of the Tiranga, setting a patriotic tone for the upcoming Independence Day festivities.
