SP Stresses Safety as JNPC Command Center Opens

District Superintendent of Police Tuhin Sinha said safety must remain the highest priority for all industries in the JNPC zone, stressing that clear and prompt communication during any incident helps both factory management and the police provide accurate information to the public and avoid panic. He was speaking after inaugurating the Zonal Command Control Center at the MASRM building in Parawada on Friday.

The newly established center is designed to improve coordinated monitoring in pharmaceutical units, minimise industrial accidents and strengthen emergency response. It enables real-time tracking of fire tenders, ambulances, cranes and police convoy vehicles.

A gas-leak mock drill was held as part of the inauguration, during which officials reviewed information flow, incident command procedures, fire brigade mobilisation, gas neutralisation steps and evacuation of injured workers.

Mr. Sinha urged industries to ensure proper registration of migrant workers and to seek police assistance for background checks when needed. He also responded to concerns about traffic movement and patrolling in the area, assuring that appropriate measures would be taken.

As part of support to law and order, MASRM handed over a Bolero vehicle to the district police for patrolling duties. The SP flagged off the vehicle and thanked the society for its cooperation.

The Command Control Center, conceptualised by the SP, was developed under the supervision of Paravada DSP V. Vishnu Swarup. Parawada CI R. Mallikarjuna Rao coordinated the mock drill and related arrangements.
