Tight Security at CII Summit with Drones and CCTV

District Collector M. N. Harendhira Prasad asked officials to work closely with CII to prepare for the CII Partnership Summit on November 14 and 15 at the Andhra University Engineering College Grounds.

He instructed officials to complete delegate registration online by November 9. Spot registration will not be allowed to ensure smooth entry.

At a review meeting in the Collectorate, he checked the progress of ongoing work. Commissioner of Police Shankhabrata Bagchi, Joint Collector K. Mayur Ashok, and officials from several departments attended the meeting.

The Collector said the Chief Minister, Governor, and Vice President are expected at the event. He asked the police to ensure strong security arrangements.

He also directed liaison officers to stay alert during the arrival of guests. Officials were told to plan a well-organized gala dinner and arrange cultural programs that reflect diverse traditions.

Commissioner Bagchi said security preparations are underway as delegates from India and abroad will attend. He requested cooperation from all departments and CII teams.

CCTV cameras will be installed at key points. Drone surveillance will support monitoring. Officials and CII staff will be posted at entry and exit gates, and every attendee must carry a photo ID.

Bagchi said VIP and vehicle passes will include QR codes. Steps will be taken to prevent crowding, especially in dining areas. A real-time monitoring room linked to CCTV feeds will oversee the event.

The preparations aim to ensure a safe and well-coordinated summit.
