TTD rolls out crowd plan for Vaikunta Dwara Darshan
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced a detailed plan to manage the expected heavy turnout for the Vaikunta Dwara Darshan from December 30 to January 8. The aim is to ensure smooth movement for pilgrims through updated ticketing and queue arrangements.
Darshan on December 30, 31, and January 1 — marking Vaikunta Ekadasi, Vaikunta Dwadasi, and New Year’s Day — will be allowed only through the Electronic Dip. Families can register under the 1+3 category from November 27 to December 1 via the TTD website, app, or WhatsApp chatbot. Results will be declared on December 2. WhatsApp users must send “Govinda” or “Hi” and complete Aadhaar verification. Each Aadhaar and mobile number can be used only once.
The Rs 300 Special Entry Darshan and Srivani Darshan tickets are cancelled for the first three days. Offline Srivani tickets and SSD tokens will also not be available from December 30 to January 8. From January 2 to 8, Sarva Darshan will be conducted directly through Vaikuntham Queue Complex–2 without tokens. Online booking for 1,000 Srivani tickets and 15,000 Special Entry Darshan tickets daily opens on December 5.
All privileged darshan categories — including senior citizens, infants, persons with disabilities, defence personnel, and NRIs — are suspended during this period. Local devotees can visit on January 6, 7, and 8, with tokens issued on December 10. VIP Break Darshan will be limited to protocol dignitaries reporting in person. All Arjita Sevas will remain suspended.
TTD has also announced special allocations for donors. Around 125 families who contributed Rs 1 crore or more will receive daily darshan from December 30 to January 8. Donors contributing between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 99 lakh will get 1,000 slots across December 30 and 31, and 2,000 slots daily from January 1 to 8. Bookings open on December 5.
