TVS ILP to Invest Rs 250 Crore in New Industrial Park in Visakhapatnam

TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks (TVS ILP), part of the TVS Mobility group and a joint venture between TVS SCS and Ravikumar Swaminathan & Family, will invest around Rs 250 crore to develop a Grade-A industrial and logistics park in Visakhapatnam.

The 17-acre park is strategically located 21 km from Vizag airport, 28 km from the railway station, and 32 km from the port, with direct access to the Chennai–Kolkata Highway. Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd. (APIIC) facilitated land allotment, approvals, and acquisition for the project.

The development will be executed in phases, with about 4 lakh sq. ft. of ready-to-move-in space already completed. Once fully operational, the park is expected to create over 1,000 jobs.

The facility will feature 12-metre clear height warehouses, LED lighting, solar-powered streetlights, advanced fire-fighting systems, wide internal roads, and high floor load capacity. Sustainability measures include rainwater harvesting, treated wastewater reuse, and renewable energy integration, making the project ESG-compliant.

“With one of India’s busiest ports, Visakhapatnam is a gateway for trade with Southeast Asia and beyond. This park will support sectors such as pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, 3PLs, automobiles, electronics, and seafood processing,” said Aditi Kumar, joint managing director of TVS ILP.

The city’s industrial appeal is growing, with infrastructure upgrades like the upcoming Bogapuram International Airport and improved Chennai–Kolkata corridor connectivity, strengthening its position as a logistics and industrial hub.
