Union Civil Aviation Minister K. N. Ram Mohan Naidu on Tuesday reviewed the progress of the Vijayawada Airport terminal and the Bhogapuram Greenfield Airport projects at his Delhi office.

Project authorities told the Minister that Bhogapuram Airport has completed 97% of construction. Only road connectivity and auxiliary facilities remain. For the Vijayawada terminal, a new contractor has taken over the work. Mr. Naidu gave key instructions to ensure timely completion.
Airline partners joined the discussion and outlined future service expansions, including routes and schedules connecting different regions of the country.
Mr. Naidu expressed satisfaction with the progress. He said the completion of these airports would greatly improve connectivity for Andhra Pradesh residents. He added that as international investors enter the state, the airports would play a crucial role in accelerating development.
