Visakhapatnam to get immersive entertainment hub, Maaya World
Visakhapatnam is set to open a unique entertainment destination, Maaya World, at the Aircraft Museum complex. The attraction features eight themed dark rooms with 3D visuals and immersive effects. It is expected to welcome visitors by this weekend.
Retired Indian Navy Commander Ramana Kumar developed the project. He invested around Rs 2 crore to bring the concept to the city. Commander Kumar said the idea was inspired by the House of Hype experience he saw while expanding his gaming business in Dubai.
“When I explored locations and approached the authorities, I was lucky to get space at the Aircraft Museum,” he said. “It is special for me because I helped build this museum in 2017. Now, I am setting up Maaya World at the same spot.” Construction is almost complete, with only final touch-ups pending.
Maaya World will offer interactive, visually rich experiences across its eight rooms. The Blinking Star Room makes visitors feel surrounded by stars. The Pearl Curtain Room is lined with shimmering drapes, and the Glowing Planet Room features illuminated celestial spheres.
Other attractions include the Kaleidoscope Room, the Dizzy Tunnel that tests balance, the Avatar Tree Room inspired by glowing flora, the Mirror Maze of endless reflections, and the Rainbow Column Room filled with radiant light pillars.
With short sentences, clear structure, and active voice, Maaya World promises an engaging experience for visitors of all ages.
