Vizag Tech-Horizon 2026 Showcases AI and Quantum Innovation
“Artificial intelligence is not just reshaping how we access knowledge—it is turning knowledge into wisdom,” said Mr. Praveen Garimella of the Indian School of Business, while delivering the keynote address at Vizag Tech-Horizon-2026: A Convergence of Minds and Machines on Saturday.
Organised by Dr. Lankapalli Bullayya College of Engineering in collaboration with Prajna Resources Pvt. Ltd., the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), and the Council for Skills and Competencies, the symposium-cum-workshop focused on disruptive technologies, particularly AI and quantum computing.
The program started with an opening session led by the college president, Prof. K.C. Reddy, in the presence of secretary and correspondent Dr. G. Madhu Kumar. The leaders emphasized the importance of equipping students and professionals with skills relevant to rapidly changing technologies.
The workshop included hands-on sessions on Vibe Coding and JD Keyword Mapping by Dr. Anandswaroop of IIIT-Hyderabad, and “An Interactive Journey with IBM Composer: From Qubits to Circuits” by Dr. G. Durgababu of RGUKT, Nuzvid, giving participants practical exposure to AI and quantum computing.
The event concluded with the launch of The Global Startup Summit and saw enthusiastic participation from faculty, students, and technology enthusiasts.
