GITAM School of Pharmacy Achieves All India Rank 33 in NIRF 2025

GITAM School of Pharmacy (GSP), a part of GITAM Deemed to be University, has secured an impressive All India Rank of 33 in the recently announced National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025 in the Pharmacy category. This ranking highlights the School’s excellence in academics, research, infrastructure, and industry partnerships.

To mark this achievement, GSP hosted a Teacher Appreciation Program on Wednesday. Dr. R. Raja Prabhu, Director of Internal Quality Assurance, Accreditation & Ranking Wing, presented the official NIRF Ranking Certificate to Prof. L. Srinivas, Principal of GSP.

In his address, Dr. Raja Prabhu praised GSP’s continuous growth and its alignment with the university’s long-term vision. He emphasized the importance of high-quality education, impactful research, and strong industry collaborations in driving national progress.

Prof. Srinivas acknowledged the faculty’s relentless efforts as key to the School’s success. He also highlighted GSP’s achievements, including publications in Scopus Q-ranked journals, involvement in patent filings, and participation in government-funded research projects. The School has recently invested 1.25 crores in upgrading its research infrastructure with state-of-the-art laboratory equipment and advanced software.

Looking to the future, Prof. Srinivas shared plans to expand collaborative research, host national and international conferences, and further strengthen industry-academia partnerships. He also expressed intentions to increase global academic engagements, focusing on sustaining multidisciplinary research and strategic global collaborations.

This recognition reinforces GITAM School of Pharmacy’s position as a leader in pharmacy education, research, and innovation.
