Rayalaseema’s future tied to Super Six promises, says TDP chief

TDP State President and Gajuwaka MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao said that the “Super Six – Super Hit” public meeting in Anantapur received a strong response. He described it as a turning point for Rayalaseema’s future.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Srinivasa Rao said that 90% of the “Super Six” promises announced at Rajahmundry had already been implemented. “That is why this rally is not just ‘Super Six’—it is truly a super hit,” he said.

He criticised YSR Congress Party chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for relying on “fake propaganda” on social media. “He promised three capitals but delivered none. He shed tears over Visakhapatnam Steel Plant but could not secure a single rupee from the Centre. The coalition government, with the Centre’s support, mobilised ₹14,000 crore and revived VSP to 80% operational capacity,” he said.

On Anantapur’s development, Srinivasa Rao said drip irrigation had turned the district into a horticultural hub. He noted that the arrival of Kia Motors had made it an automobile hub. “Now, with Chandrababu Naidu’s vision, Anantapur will emerge as India’s largest aerospace hub—a transformation that will make the nation proud,” he said.

He recalled that the Handri-Neeva project, conceived by Mr. Naidu, had brought 3,850 cusecs of water to Anantapur. With projects such as Jeedipalli and Bhairavanithippa, thousands of acres came under cultivation, laying the base for the region’s agricultural growth.

“Rayalaseema’s resurgence is possible only with a double-engine government,” he said. He added that the experience of Mr. Naidu, the support of Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, and cooperation from the Union government would together form the pillars of the region’s revival.
