Visakhapatnam to Host 30th CII Partnership Summit

Visakhapatnam will host the 30th Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Partnership Summit on November 14-15. The event will take place at Andhra University Engineering College, in partnership with the Government of India, the Andhra Pradesh government, and CII. The Andhra Pradesh Pavilion Plenary Hall will be the main venue, with additional halls for plenary sessions.

The summit will kick off with the inaugural session on November 14, from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Plenary Hall 5. Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan will be the chief guest, with Governor Justice Syed Abdul Nazeer as the guest of honour. Union Minister Piyush Goyal and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will deliver the keynote addresses. Several Union and State Ministers, along with industry leaders, will also attend.

Following the opening, the first plenary session will run from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM. Goyal and Naidu will return as guests of honour. Other plenary sessions will continue throughout the day until 8:00 PM. On November 15, sessions will begin at 9:30 AM and run through the evening.

The summit will conclude with a Valedictory Session on November 15, from 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM. Goyal and Naidu will again participate, along with CII Vice President Suchitra K. Yalla and CII International Council Chairman R. Dinesh.

The state government has made extensive arrangements for the event, including seating for dignitaries and media, and ample parking. The summit has been promoted widely, with campaigns in key cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Visakhapatnam. Over 50 memorandums of understanding (MoUs) are expected to be signed during the summit, covering sectors like industries, tourism, energy, and IT.
