AP Chambers holds curtain-raiser for Business Expo 2025

Housing and I&PR Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy stated that Andhra Pradesh is drawing significant investments under Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership. He made these comments during the opening event for the Business Expo 2025, organized by the Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation (AP Chambers) on Tuesday. The minister emphasized that the Expo is happening at a vital time as the state prepares for economic growth.

MSME, SERP, and NRI Empowerment & Relations Minister Kondapalli Srinivas, along with AP NRTS Chairman Dr. Ravi Vemuru, attended the unveiling of the Expo’s audio-visual presentation and brochure. The event also saw the presence of 25 sectoral association presidents. Minister Srinivas discussed the challenges currently facing MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) with the attendees.

Potluri Bhaskara Rao, President of AP Chambers, said the first Expo in November 2024 provided a key platform for networking, sector-focused seminars, and innovation displays, drawing over 150 exhibitors. He added that the 2025 edition, scheduled from 12th to 14th December in Vijayawada, will be bigger, featuring around 160 exhibitors and expecting more than 30,000 visitors. The event will also host parallel sectoral seminars with ministers, bureaucrats, entrepreneurs, and industry experts.

Executive Vice President B. Raja Sekhar noted that the Expo has received approval from the Ministry of MSME under the PMS Scheme. He urged micro and small enterprises with Udyam Registration to apply for stall rent reimbursement and take part in the Expo to showcase their products and services.
