Good response for Dial Your APEPDCL CMD programme
The “Dial Your APEPDCL CMD” programme, launched by the Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution Company Limited (APEPDCL) to ensure time-bound redressal of consumer grievances, received an encouraging response on Monday, with 48 electricity consumers flagging issues directly to the management.
Chairman and Managing Director Prudhvi Tej Immadi said the programme, held at the APEPDCL corporate office, provided consumers an opportunity to place their concerns before the top management for prompt action.
Complaints largely pertained to voltage fluctuations, delays in transformer replacement, difficulties in rooftop solar installations, estimates for agricultural power connections, shifting of power lines, billing-related issues, replacement of electric poles, loose hanging wires, and frequent interruptions in power supply.
Assuring early resolution, the CMD said the grievances received through the programme would be closely monitored by corporate office officials until they were fully addressed.
He also said consumers could continue to report power-related issues by calling the toll-free number 1912 or by contacting the department through WhatsApp at 9493681912.
APEPDCL Directors T.V. Suryaprakash, T. Vanaja, S. Haribabu, CGM V. Vijayalalitha, GM M. Jhansi, and other senior officials were present.
