Kancharapalem Polytechnic Wins Best Overall Performance Award
Government Polytechnic College, Kancharapalem, added a feather to its cap by clinching the ISTE Andhra Pradesh Section Award for Best Polytechnic with Best Overall Performance – 2025, outshining institutions from across the state.
The award was conferred on Friday at a ceremony held at the Aditya Institute of Technology and Management (AITAM) in Tekkali, Srikakulam district, where the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) recognised the college’s exemplary standards among a competitive field of 87 government and 255 private polytechnic colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
JNTU Anantapur Vice Chancellor Prof. H. Sudarsana Rao graced the occasion as the chief guest and presented the trophy to the college representatives.
Speaking at the event, Government Polytechnic Principal K. V. Ramana lauded the combined efforts of the faculty and students, calling the recognition a collective milestone achieved through sustained dedication and hard work.
The ceremony was also attended by ISTE A.P. section chairman Prof. G. Ranga Janardhan, secretary Prof. B. Eswar Reddy, and AITAM chairman K. Someswara Rao, among other prominent figures from the technical education fraternity.
