YSRCP directs RTI wing to expose TDP government’s corruption

YSR Congress Party State coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy on Saturday directed the party’s RTI wing to take a proactive role in exposing corruption and the failures of the TDP-led coalition government.

Addressing a State-level workshop at the YSRCP central office, Mr. Ramakrishna Reddy alleged that corruption had become rampant under the TDP dispensation, with commissions and bribes being collected in the open, even as the government pushed narratives around visions like ‘2047’.

He alleged large-scale irregularities in the development of Amaravati, claiming that corruption worth lakhs of crores of rupees was being facilitated in its name. He called upon the RTI wing to gather concrete evidence and bring these activities to light.

Mr. Ramakrishna Reddy also alleged that former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was being targeted through false propaganda, and that opposition leaders and party cadres were being harassed through fabricated cases filed against them. MLC Lella Appireddy and other leaders attended the workshop.
