The organisation has been awarded the ‘Global Best Learning and Development Strategy of the Year–2026 Award’ at the G-EEF Global HR Excellence Awards–2026 held in New Delhi, marking a notable acknowledgment of its human resource development practices.

According to APEPDCL Chairman and Managing Director Prudhvi Tej Immadi (Prudhvi Tej Immadi), the utility has been strengthening its internal capacity-building framework through structured and continuous training programmes. He said the organisation has adopted a policy under which every employee undergoes a minimum of three days of professional training annually.
He added that the training ecosystem is designed not only to improve operational efficiency but also to keep pace with evolving technologies in the power distribution sector, enhance technical competence, and ensure more reliable service delivery to consumers.
Officials said the initiative includes regular skill upgradation modules, refresher courses, and exposure to modern practices in utility management, aimed at building a more agile and future-ready workforce.
The CMD further reiterated that employee skill development remains central to the organisation’s long-term strategy, and called upon staff across all levels to actively engage in continuous learning and contribute to improved organisational performance and service excellence.
