High Court judges’ guest houses to come up in Visakhapatnam

Andhra Pradesh High Court Chief Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur on Saturday laid the foundation stone for the construction of guest houses for High Court judges in Visakhapatnam.

The project will be developed on a five-acre site behind the ISKCON temple in Endada area of north Visakhapatnam. Located on an elevated hilltop, the site offers a panoramic view of the coastline.

The Chief Justice, accompanied by High Court judges Justice Ravinath Tilhari and Justice Ravi Cheemalapati, took part in the traditional rituals and unveiled the commemorative plaque marking the commencement of the project.

During the visit, Justice Thakur inspected the project site and reviewed the surrounding hilltop area. He also interacted with district and court officials to obtain details on the proposed timelines and design aspects of the guest houses.

Among those present were Principal District Judge Chinnamshetty Raju, District Collector M. Abhishikth Kishore, Police Commissioner Shankha Brata Bagchi, GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg, and VMRDA Commissioner Tej Bharat.
