NAC-AP wins two national honours at ISDA Infricon Awards
The National Academy of Construction, Andhra Pradesh (National Academy of Construction, Andhra Pradesh (NAC-AP)) secured two national awards at the ISDA Infricon National Awards (IINA) 2026 held at the Stein Auditorium, India Habitat Centre, here on Thursday.
The awards were presented by Dr. Dinesh Sharma (Dinesh Sharma), Member of Parliament and former Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister, in the presence of policymakers, industry leaders and infrastructure experts.
NAC-AP Director General G. Ganesh Kumar received the Gold Award in the category “Best Individual Service Award – Excellence in Government Service” for his contribution to strengthening skill development systems and workforce capabilities in the construction sector.
The academy also received the Platinum Award for “Best Skill Development Initiative in the Construction Sector – Special Sector,” recognising its efforts in industry-linked training and workforce development.
Through its Advanced Skill Training Institutes, district training centres and Centres of Excellence, NAC-AP has trained thousands across trades including construction safety, electrical systems, plumbing, masonry, bar bending, formwork, renewable energy and project management.
The institution said it has been focusing on bridging industry needs and workforce skills through practical training, digital learning, industry partnerships, certification programmes and placement support.
D. Manohar, Additional Director General, and M. Indra Kiran, Director of NAC-AP, received the awards on behalf of the institution.
