RTGS CCTV360 Helps Police Trace Three Missing Children

The Andhra Pradesh government’s RTGS-powered CCTV360 surveillance system has helped police trace three missing children in separate cases and reunite them with their families within days. The cases highlight the growing role of technology in public safety.

Officials said the AI-enabled platform uses real-time monitoring and analytics. It has improved emergency response by helping police trace missing persons faster and more accurately.

In Yelamanchili town of Anakapalli district, two schoolchildren went missing on April 15. Their families approached the police for help. Police then sought support from the Real Time Governance Society (RTGS). The technical team uploaded the children’s photographs into the CCTV360 system and began a coordinated search.

According to an official statement, AI-enabled cameras tracked the children’s movements in real time. The system identified their location in Visakhapatnam city. Police teams were alerted immediately, reached the spot, secured the children and reunited them with their families.

In another case in Anantapur, a missing boy was traced through the same platform after his parents lodged a complaint on April 11. After the child’s photograph was uploaded into the network, authorities tracked his movement using the Person of Interest (POI) analytics feature.

The system detected that the boy was heading towards Hyderabad and sent real-time alerts. This allowed police to act quickly and trace him safely, the statement said.

Officials said these cases show how CCTV360 is becoming an important tool in modern policing. They added that further expansion of the system would improve public safety and build greater trust among citizens.
