Women’s Collaboration Fuels Business Growth, Says VCCI Women’s Wing Chairperson
“Women are shaping a new era of entrepreneurship through collaboration and shared success,” said Ms. Sandhya Godey, Chairperson of the Women’s Wing of the Vizagapatam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). She was speaking at the Women Entrepreneurs Meet held in Visakhapatnam.
The event, organised by Inspire For Her in association with the VCCI Women’s Wing, brought together around 30 businesswomen. Participants included members of VCCI, AP Chambers, the CREDAI Women’s Wing, and other business networks. The meet focused on connection, learning, and collaboration among women entrepreneurs.
In her address, Ms. Godey said women are breaking barriers across sectors such as technology, real estate, and education. She noted that partnerships between business networks help women innovate and grow stronger together.
Ms. Madhura Das Gupta, Founder and CEO of Aspire For Her, shared the organisation’s story and its impact. She explained how Aspire For Her provides career opportunities, mentoring, and skill-building resources to help women advance.
She also spoke about Project Naveli, led by Ms. Navya Naveli Nanda, which supports Aspire For Her’s mission. Their joint platform, EntrepreNaari, celebrates women-led businesses and inspires others to follow their path.
The event honoured several women achievers for their success in different fields. Interactive discussions and networking sessions helped participants exchange ideas and explore collaborations.
Organisers said the meet aimed to create a supportive network for women entrepreneurs in Visakhapatnam. They invited more women to join the growing community focused on empowerment, mentorship, and business growth.
