Complete Census self-enumeration by April 30, says GVMC Chief

Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) Commissioner Ketan Garg on Thursday appealed to citizens to make use of the self-enumeration facility introduced for Census 2027 and complete the online registration process between April 16 and April 30 through the official portal.

As part of an awareness initiative, Mr. Garg completed his self-enumeration registration on his mobile phone at his residence via the website https://se.census.gov.in and said the process was simple and convenient.

He said the digital mode had been introduced for the first time in the Census exercise, allowing citizens to submit their details online with ease. He urged residents to participate in large numbers and to support the successful conduct of Census 2027.

Mr. Garg said citizens could visit the portal, answer the required questions, and complete the registration without difficulty during the stipulated period.

East Zone Zonal Commissioner K. Shivaprasad, an enumerator, and GVMC Assistant Engineer Mounika were present.
