Green India Expo 2026 begins in Vijayawada
The Green India Expo 2026 commenced on Thursday at SS Convention Hall here, bringing together stakeholders from the renewable energy and sustainability sectors under the theme “Andhra Pradesh – The Gateway to India’s Green Energy Future”.
Exhibition Catalyst Pvt. Ltd, in collaboration with the Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation (AP Chambers), is organising the three-day event. AP Chambers President Potluri Bhaskara Rao inaugurated the expo and highlighted growing opportunities in the state’s renewable energy sector. He urged greater industry participation in the transition towards clean energy.
Around 50 exhibitors from across the country are showcasing technologies and solutions spanning solar and wind energy, green hydrogen, energy storage systems, electric mobility, energy efficiency, waste management and other sustainability-focused areas.
The expo has attracted participation from investors, entrepreneurs, policymakers, students and industry representatives. Organisers said it is expected to facilitate discussions on emerging trends and opportunities in the green economy.
As part of the programme, organisers will hold the Green India Conference 2026 on June 12. It will focus on green energy investments, policy frameworks, grid infrastructure, financing mechanisms, emerging technologies and job opportunities in the sector.
Dr P. Krishnaiah will be the chief guest at the conference and is expected to speak on sustainable development and environmental stewardship in advancing Andhra Pradesh’s green growth agenda.
Organisers said the initiative aims to strengthen collaboration among industry, government, academia and investors, while positioning Andhra Pradesh as a hub for renewable energy and green industrial investments. The expo will conclude on June 13.
