Pawan Kalyan Celebrates JSP 13th Formation Day in Tribal Hamlet

Jana Sena Party founder-president and Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan marked the 13th Formation Day of the party on Saturday by unfurling the party flag in a remote tribal village at Onuru Junction, Paderu mandal.

Mr. Pawan Kalyan arrived to the traditional Dhimsa dance performed by the tribal community and took part in developmental initiatives while interacting with local residents. He also conveyed his gratitude to party workers for their efforts in strengthening the organisation.

As part of the programme, the Deputy Chief Minister walked 2.4 km from Onuru Junction to Nandigaruvu Junction to inspect a road constructed under the PM JANMAN scheme. Officials informed him that eight culverts were built along the hilly stretch. Villagers accompanied him on the walk.

“The 13th Formation Day of the JSP could have been celebrated among lakhs of people, but I chose a remote tribal village with only 40 houses. A village that had not seen a road for 70 years now has one,” Mr. Pawan Kalyan said. Children holding placards reading “Thank You Modi Ji” and “Thank You CM Sir” accompanied him to express gratitude for the road project funding.

Mr. Pawan Kalyan later reviewed a drinking water project under the Jal Jeevan Mission in Onuru village panchayat. Officials said 60 households received tap connections at a cost of ₹8.30 lakh, with the State government contributing 50% as a matching grant. He checked the water quality and discussed supply adequacy with villagers.

He also visited the Anganwadi centre and the Mandal Primary School, distributing sweets and nutrition kits to children and presenting new clothes to pregnant women and Anganwadi workers.

Under the ‘Adavi Thalli Bata’ initiative, he suggested planting fruit-bearing trees along roads to generate additional income for tribal communities. He directed officials to explore eco-tourism opportunities, including bamboo cottages in hills, scenic viewpoints, homestays, and film shooting locations.

Mr. Pawan Kalyan also called for special training for tribal youth to enable employment in private security organisations, aiming to expand livelihood opportunities in the region.
