AP courts global investors with push into advanced industries
Andhra Pradesh is strengthening its pitch as a global investment destination, with the State actively engaging international industry leaders to showcase its emerging strengths in advanced manufacturing and technology-led growth.
Industries, Commerce and Food Processing Minister T.G. Bharat, during his official visit to Germany, said the State is witnessing growing global interest driven by forward-looking policies and infrastructure development initiatives.
He noted that under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the government has introduced the Andhra Pradesh Industry Policy 4.0 to accelerate investments in next-generation sectors and position the State as a competitive industrial hub.
As part of his visit, Mr. Bharat attended Hannover Messe, one of the world’s premier industrial technology exhibitions, where he explored advancements in artificial intelligence, robotics, automation systems, electric mobility and Industry 4.0 technologies.
The Minister also held discussions with global industry representatives on future-ready manufacturing and smart industrial ecosystems. He highlighted Andhra Pradesh’s investment potential in key areas such as AI, robotics, automation and electric vehicles, emphasising opportunities for international partnerships and technology collaboration.
Mr. Bharat further pointed to major infrastructure developments shaping the State’s growth trajectory. He said Amaravati is being developed as a world-class capital with global standards, while the upcoming Google data centre in Visakhapatnam is expected to significantly enhance the State’s digital infrastructure.
He reiterated that Andhra Pradesh aims to establish itself as a leading hub in South India for innovation-driven expansion, export-oriented growth and high-value industrial investment, supported by investor-friendly policies and strong resource availability.
