NLMC to hold investor meets ahead of RINL land e-auction
Ahead of the upcoming e-auction of 459 prime land parcels owned by Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), the National Land Monetization Corporation (NLMC) will convene a series of investor conferences across Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, and Hyderabad later this month.
The roadshows, organized by the NLMC—a central public sector entity functioning under the aegis of the Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Finance—are slated for September 23 in Visakhapatnam, September 24 in Vijayawada, and September 25 in Hyderabad.
According to a press statement issued by the steel company, the initiative seeks to familiarize prospective investors with the detailed real estate portfolio, demystify the bidding procedures and statutory mandates, and address queries from potential stakeholders prior to the commencement of the auction.
The asset inventory comprises 459 land parcels measuring a collective area of 93,572.21 square yards, situated at HB Colony and Auto Nagar in Gajuwaka, Visakhapatnam. The individual plot dimensions range from 128.94 to 2,728 square yards.
A break-up of the assets shows that 456 residential plots in HB Colony constitute 87,949.77 square yards of the total area, while three plots at Auto Nagar account for the remaining 5,622.44 square yards. Officials noted that the properties boast advantageous locations within established residential, commercial, and industrial corridors.
The e-bidding process will be carried out in two distinct phases through the RailTel E-Nivida e-procurement portal, with the opening session covering 243 plots slated for October 12.
