Collector honours SSC toppers, urges focus and perseverance

Top SSC scorers from govt schools felicitated in district

District Collector M. Abhishek Kishore on Friday underscored that a sound idea forms the bedrock of success, adding that sustained hard work propels students to greater heights of achievement.

He was speaking at a felicitation ceremony held at the VC Hall to honour students from government schools who scored 590 and above in the SSC examinations. The Collector extended his congratulations to the achievers, their parents, and teachers for their commendable performance.

In an interaction with the students, Mr. Kishore urged them to define their goals with clarity and pursue them with unwavering determination. He noted that achieving such scores at a young age through disciplined planning was commendable and called upon them to carry the same spirit into their future academic endeavours.

He expressed confidence that the students’ exemplary results would further strengthen faith in the government school system. Encouraging them to set their sights higher, the Collector asked the students not to be discouraged by hurdles and to remain steadfast in their pursuits. He also assured them of his full support whenever needed.

Nine students were felicitated at the event. Girl students who secured the first and second positions in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) were also recognised for their achievements.

District Education Officer N. Prem Kumar, Samagra Shiksha APC Chandrasekhar, Deputy Education Officer Someswara Rao, Assistant Director of Government Examinations Rajasekhar, DCE Board Secretary Krishnakumar, and parents were among those present.
