CoEET focuses on enhancing managerial skills in power sector: APEPDCL CMD
Prudhvi Tej Immadi, Chairman and Managing Director of APEPDCL, has stressed the need for continuous learning and skill development among employees to keep pace with the rapid transformation in the energy sector, particularly amid the energy transition.
Interacting with participants in the five-day training programme on Finance and Managerial Accounting at the Centre of Excellence for Energy Transition (CoEET) on Thursday, Mr. Immadi said that strengthening managerial capabilities, improving financial management skills, and staying abreast of emerging technologies were essential to enhancing organisational performance.
The training programme, running June 15-19 in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam, brings together officers and employees from APTRANSCO, APGENCO, APEPDCL, APSPDCL, APCPDCL, and NREDCAP.
Mr. Immadi said CoEET had been organising regular capacity-building programmes to enhance employees’ knowledge and skills, enabling them to address the evolving needs of the power sector and contribute to a smooth energy transition.
The programme is coordinated by Vikas Sangwan and Tamali Chakrabarti, faculty members at IIM Visakhapatnam, serving as programme directors.
